Tier 2 ICT - can apply to settle (ILR) in the UK

Hi Friends,
I am aware of the Tier 2 ICT is not eligible to settle in UK, but apparently i came across the below link resulting 2 conditions:

To qualify, you must have had at least one of these visas in the 5 years:

1.) Tier 2 (Intra-Company Transfer) issued under the Immigration Rules in place before 6 April 2010
2.) Work Permit for an intra-company transfer ---> i am not sure what it means other than Tier 2 ICT.

Can you please advise whether Tier 2 ICT visa holders are currently eligible to apply for ILR after completion of 5 yrs working if the employer still needs for Job after 5yrs and i have visa valid even after that. Any latest news on it or changes to the policy whether i can apply for ILR?

ICT visa issued after 6 April 2010 does NOT leas to ilr, so the answer is no, you don't qualify for ilr after 5 years.

Number 2 refers to the old style work permit category which was discontinued in 2008 when the PBS system came into place. The work permit does not refer to the ICT visa you hold.
