BRP return-Royal Mail

Post by Echinol » Sat Feb 29, 2020 8:50 am

Hello all,

I returned my old expired BRP using Royal Mail first class signed for service on Thursday. And till now it’s not delivered. I called the Royal Mail this morning and they said wait till 11th of March, if not delivered we could say it is lost. I think they lost it. Any experienced members? What should I do? Should I write to home office address with proof of postage not to have £1000 fine? Or should I wait?

Thanks.

I recently used the sign for service by Royal Mail to send some document to HO too. I also sent on Thursday thinking it will arrive on Friday. But it didn’t actually arrive til Monday. Apparently it can take up to 3 days. So wait til Monday n see. Do t panic yet.

You see, no need to panic.

Also, you were covered because you had a proof of shipping in hand. They couldn't prosecute you for something you can demonstrate you sent and it was lost by Royal Mail.

ILR Decision Letter Not Received

Post by Echinol » Mon Mar 02, 2020 6:30 pm

Hello all,

Is anyone recently applied ILR and received decision letter? I received my decision email on 21st and BRP on 26th of February but no letter? Should I contact to UKVI? If yes how? And right to work website is not showing my details. Actual wording we cannot show your details. Any experienced member? Is it taking some time to appear?

Thanks.

You already got an approval email on 21st February. Unlikely you will get anything else when you already received something.

Thank you CR001. So my understanding people received email not receiving any letter or there is possibility to receive it? And right to work check will show my record later after maybe updated?
