FLRO FP

Post by JRJ04 » Fri Mar 06, 2020 9:59 am

Hi All

I applied for FLRO FP Jan 2018 still waiting for an decision. They asked all my relevant documentation but still I am on “processing ” how long does it normally take?

I want to get married to my german fiancé and therefore I can’t even get a letter from the home office that is ok to get married. They are not responding to any of the letters I have sent.
London registrars asking for my passport which is at the home office.
Do you have any idea? What other options there are?
I worked at the beginning in this country and about nearly sometimes I am “forbidden from taking employment”. It is hard to depend on families, is not my nature and it’s killing me. Can I claim for help, study wise or anything else. Just sitting at home and wasting a precious life is not right.

Sorry guys but it really hurts me and I had to let it out. Not many will understand until you are in their shoes.

God bless you and let’s keep waiting.

Hi,

I came here on work permit visa. My company I was worked for got seized. just 2 days before this incident happened I requested a letter to renew my work permit visa as it going to expire in a month time. But my bad I trapped as over stay by 10 days. So I appealed twice and now I am on FLRO FP, because my whole family are here.
The documents they asked last year for FLRO FP was my medical history. Still now there is no answer.

I was with several solicitors each and every one said something different it is quiet irritating. I feel like should I do perhaps a fresh application?

You are still not clear. What is the work permit visa ? When did your last visa expire ? When did you apply to extend it ?? These details all matter

Hi

I came to this country with a work permit in 2003.
My visa expired in 2010, my employers company got seized as he didn’t pay the tax. Therefor I couldn’t extend my visa on time in 2010, because the documents were at the company. I handed my documents a month later to the home office, which was already late.
It was not my fault, I even explained the home office before what has happened and they have rejected it as overstayed.

I was detained in 2013 and high court rejected my case.
I believe my passport is now also expired, which is at the home office.

Now I am on FLRO FP, applied in 2018 and still it is pending.

I hope you have some clear information here.

Thanks a million atleast Someone listen and tries to help me, if not physically but mentally.

Thank you 🙏🏽

That is a very long period of overstaying. There is no chance of ILR for you I am afraid and you can even be subject to being detained and removed. Your best bet is to focus on getting married to your EEA partner and look into the EU settlement scheme. The FLR will probably go nowhere given your history

Hi,

I see that clearly too... i can’t get married in London without correct papers including a letter from HO that I can marry. I contact HO, there was no reply since last year.
The registrar asking for a valid passport and some bills.
What can I do in that case. My partner is a German Citizen she lives here too.
Can I go to Germany? Can I get married at the German embassy in London?
What is the solution?

Kind regards

🙏🏽

Hi Zimba,

I hope you all are fine.

My case got rejected and I received the letter from my lawyer.
I am really devastated about the result after being 20 years in this country and got a rejection. I don't know what to do.
Could someone give me any advice?
My fear to going back increased more in me.

It would be nice if someone could give me an advice. I am helpless.

I wish and ask God, if there is no miracle.

Regards,

JRJ04

Advice has already been given to you above. Simply being here is not a basis for anything. Residence must be lawful. Look into EU settlement scheme as explained via marriage.
