Where to find the barcode?

I am applying for renewal of my daughter's (5 year old) passport from outside of UK using this form:

In this guidance note on page 1, it says:

Write your reference number below. This can be found on the top of your application form under the barcode.

And on page 25:

Make a note of your application number on the front page of this guidance booklet. Your application number can be found on the front of your form under the barcode number.

I can not find any reference number or barcode on the application form. Can anyone help me understand this and what needs to be done?
We are downloading the form, filling it up, and planning to submit in person with supporting documents to one of the visa centers.
