Agreement Translation

Hi,

I have taken money from my father and as a proof Iam submitting the Affidavit and lease agreement(my father recieved money after giving some land for lease to a third party).

Now the original lease agreement is in regional language and needs to be translated to english.

My question is :

1) Is it enough to have the translated document on a A4 sheet or its needs to be prepared on Bond or stamp paper.

2) The original document have signatures of third party people who has taken the land for lease. Now do we need to get their signatures again on the translated document which I dont think is possible.

I don't think BHC is concerned with how your father got the money (by selling land) that he has given you. What they are concerned with is whether you have the maintenance funds, and if there are significant credits within the 3 month period, then where did the credit come from (from your father). All you need is a letter from your father on a plain paper stating that he is giving you X amount (amount credited) to you and the money is for your maintenance in UK. If the money has been transferred from his bank account, attach a copy of his bank statement showing the transaction. If credit was through cash, state so in the letter.

While there is no harm in doing what you have stated in your post above, it is a cumbersome process and you'll have to get answers from local BHC as to whether you need to use approved translators, use judicial or non-judicial stamp papers, who all need to sign the affidavit etc. etc. etc. And I am afraid you might not get the answers at all to such complex questions (or in the time-frame that you expect).

Personal opinion, so you might want to wait for more feedback / suggestions.
