My wife had booked her appointment to be held on 26 March 2020 using the super priority service so we didn't check our emails and went to the Croydon Centre where her biometrics and documents were scanned (we paid for the appointment and scanned service). Upon reaching home, my wife checked her email and surprised to find out that she received a email day before saying the appointment was cancelled but we went anyway. We called the number and the guy on the phone our application has been processed and submitted to Home Office but to our surprise we received an email from Home Office Manchester branch saying due to my wife's exceptionally complex application a decision can't be made in one day. My wife has completed 5 yrs on spouse visa and applied for ILR on this basis. We have provided all the documents which are satisfactory and is a straight forward application. Now my wife is worrying that why they are saying its exceptionally complex when its not. Has anyone got a similar email?
