FLR (M) Visa Docs

Post by danmor84 » Tue Apr 14, 2020 3:40 pm

Hello,

If this questions has been answered, please direct me to the thread.

My wife's spouse visa is due to expire 5 May. We did extension form until 31st May (and got approved) however understand we should still apply as normal before 5 May.

We are unable to get many of the original documents such as the employment letter, stamped p60s and payslips etc as our office's are shut and staff are working from home.

The home office hotline said to submit the application in a timely manner but with a cover letter stating why we had submit original documents.

What have others done? Im wary of their telephone advice!

Thanks!

Original documents are not submitted anymore. Everything is scanned and/or uploaded to the UKCVAS portal, so you can use electronic documents.

The whole system changed in November 2018.

You now apply online, then book a UKCVAS appointment for identity check and biometrics (centres currently closed). You upload all your supporting documents online before your biometric appointment at UKCVAS.
