Spouse visa extension English requirement

Good day everyone. Trust you all are doing great. Please I need clarification on my case, in 2015 I was granted leave to remain 10 years route as a parent, I did the A1 English test then, in 2017 I switched to partner 5 years route and did the A2 English test, please I want to know if I can still use the A2 for extension as I am ready to renew again. The A2 English is the requirement, I want to be sure.

If it (A2 test) is still valid and on the HO list then should be fine otherwise (if expired) and wasn't used previously in the grant of entry clearance/leave to remain then you might have to redo it.

It is A2 grade 3, I used it when I switched my application to partner which was accepted in 2017, and it is the recommended one to use for extension.
