Pakistani visitor visa holders impacted by covid 19 situation

Hi there,

I wanted to enquire regards to my mother's case. She is a visitor visa holder. She has a lid visa till Jan 2021 however she was suppose to return to Pakistan after r having stayed in UK for 180 days.

Right now she has her flights booked for 27 April. Of the flights to Pakistan are cancelled due to covid 19 how will this impact her visit visa.

I asked a lawyer who advice applying for 5 year visit visa will not be a prudent choice right now. However rif she gets stuck will it be consodered a violation by UK immigration authorities?

It would have probably been prudent for her to leave the UK once it became evident of the scale and before it got this bad.

My mum has received issued email 2 months ago and she hasn’t received the passport yet and I know this is because of the COvid19 situation. What will happen to her visa ? Are they gonna issue her a new visa later on or are they gonna send her the old visa which they have already issued 2 months ago ?
