Fiance visa with conviction

Post by Emjay79 » Fri Apr 17, 2020 6:38 pm

Hi

I am looking for a bit of advice. I've been with my American boyfriend 2 years. I have travelled to USA twice and he has visited here twice. We now want to live together and he has decided to come here due to me having a well paid job and a also have a disabled son that I do not want to uproot. We plan on applying for a fiance visa however we are worried as he has a felony. The charge was quite a serious one but he got a 3 year suspended sentence and did 3 years supervised probation which he completed in 2018. He has 1 other misdemeanor on his record from 2006.

How difficult is it likely to be for him to be granted his visa?

Thank you in advance 🙂🙂
