Spouse Visa Extension

Hello
I have my spouse visa which will expire in July 2020.
I came to Pakistan in nov 2019 got sick and now I am stuck here due to Covid-19.
I also have 8month old baby who is British National.
I need help as my visa extension need to be applied.

What can I do If I cant return to UK on time?
How long does it take to make a strong application keeping in mind that I need to give my A2 test yet.

Is there any other way out if I stay in Pakistan and extend my Visa??

Plus I have a problem, I have lived outside the Uk a lot of time in last 2.5 years. This time also I have been out of uk since last 6 months
Will this effect my application? And how can I make up for it?

Extension of visa can't be applied from outside of UK and if you couldn't be able to return UK before the visa expiry then you would have to repeat the same initial process of spouse visa. There is no absence limit but heavier absence affect the generation of cohabitation evidence needed for extension.

Apply for a new entry clearance before visa expiry. You do not have any absence limit. Also there are no restriction to enter the UK but you may have to try to get here indirectly if direct flights are cancelled
