Uk visa

Post by ReddevilTheGamer » Wed Apr 29, 2020 10:20 am

Hello
I would like to ask you all an information..i'm currently on a uk spouse visa, me and my wife got into a heated arguement that got out of control..in which we hit each other..which we dearly regret. but at that time my wife called the police and she did not made an statement to them (thats what the police told me) but they did ask my wife details about me, i was outside the house when i confronted the police..who told me not to go home until the next day which they took my home key from me. And then one week later the police called my wife to ask about the situation and she told them the problem has been resolved now and they said they closed the case after...my question is i will apply to renew my visa in coming months do i need to mention about it? And will it affect my application (FLM).

Thank you

If there's no further action by police and or report of domestic violence by your spouse, the above should not have an impact on the visa renewal.

You have to answer what the questions asks. If the question says "Have you ever been charged?" then you will answer no as the case was closed.

I would not mention this if it doesn't ask for it.
