British Citizenship Due

Post by Mr Javed » Tue May 05, 2020 10:48 am

Hello All Expert,

My british citizenship application due now but I have few questions about process & current situation.

As bio metric centres are closed thats means I cannot go for finger prints is that correct?.

What is the fee & procedure for application?

What documents required?

Do I still need two peoples signatures & on my pictures & on my form?

I got ilr on tier 2 route & first anniversay of ilr coming soon.

Any help will be much appreciated

Kinds Regards

Correct.
What is the fee & procedure for application?
£1330 plus £19.20 biometric enrolment fee plus whatever the centres charge.
What documents required?
Have you read the AN guidance and searched the forum?? This is posted frequently.
Do I still need two peoples signatures & on my pictures & on my form?
Yes.

Date of application is the date you submit and pay online and not the biometric appointment date. Many are applying and keeping an eye on when the centres reopen to book their appointments.

Mine is due also. But I am kinda waiting to see how things unfold especially in the next week. I personally think there will be a massive back log and applications will take longer to process. You may want to consider how things unfold in the near future. Personally, I may wait another 3-4 months and apply then but obviously its your decision.

Inclined to agree that there will be a huge backlog when the Home Office does start processing naturalisation applications fully again.

Start the application online and answer the questions, the form will guide you. Do not worry about the name of the form, the system will start the required form for your situation based on your answers. You must have 2 referees

ID or NIC card number stays the same. Its mentioned on your Pakistani passport also.
This is not an important question anyways.
Answer as it is. If your NIC card is expired does not matter, the NIC number stays the same.

Yes - clearly, as wife doesn't qualify yet.
