Child Settlement Visa

Post by napavalais » Thu May 21, 2020 4:58 pm

Hi,

I am on spouse visa(Leave to Enter) and will extend my visa next month. My son come with me as a dependant and he is a son of my husband(sponsor) and me. Normally, he could apply to extend visa(Leave to Remain) with me on next month.
Is he can skip from extend his visa to apply for ILR instead?
Which form we can use between set(O) and set(F)?

Thanks

No. He will only qualify for ilr when you do.

The general rule of thumb when it comes to children born abroad is that their UK immigration status is inline with that of the less-privileged parent. Therefore they can apply for ILR with the second parent.
