Addition of Director (Tier 2 Sponsor)

Hi I hope everyone is keeping well.

My company has recently got an addition of another director. So before we only had one director, but now we have two directors. Although the old director still owns all the share.

My question is that does my employer needs to inform UKBA and get a new sponsor license, or as he is still holding all the shares he doesn't need to inform UKBA. Will UKBA will ask him to apply for new license and I will then get transferred to a new license ?
