Tier 2 Application - Date of Arrival to the UK

Hi All,

Visa centres are opened in my home country and I booked an appointment. However, my COS have already been expired. Hence, I can’t cancel my application and re-submit again. My questions:

1- “Date you plan to arrive in the UK” is in the past now. How will they define the date of arrival on the vignette visa? Will it be “as much as possible”?
2- My visa appointment date is on the 30th of June whereas start date in sponsorship note is on the 1st of July. Can I keep start date as is or should I push it back a bit with a sponsorship note?
