Tier 2 working remotely full time (within the UK)

I am currently on a tier 2 visa.
My sponsor company is likely to be changing its 'work from home' policy to go from being allowed to work one day a week at home to full time working at home (within the UK), due to the success of working at home during covid-19. The company will still have a permanent office space.

I'm wondering if there is any requirement that I spend x days a week at the company office being a tier 2 sponsor, or if it's just a case of my sponsor updating my details on the sponsor management system to change my place of work to my home address, if I decide to work full time from home.

Our firm is also considering the similar policy from no work from home to Maximum if 2 days work from home allowed in a week. They said they are discussing that with their immigration lawyers but management also believes that all they have to do is update SMS and update with 2 places of work including everyone’s home. I will confirm if I hear anything back from them in coming days.

Thanks. I guess I was referring to the long term outlook, or what the policy was before the virus?
