Time Scales

Post by iereboy » Mon Aug 18, 2008 11:38 pm

Hi everyone,

I got my entry clearance to have my civil partnership. Having had our civil partnership we subsquently posted off the FLRM form for the 2 year probation period. I sent if off and got an acknowledgement response from the Home Office. This was around the 14th July. We have heard nothing since. I was under the impression it was 20 working days to get the visa back. Is this true? Is anyone else in the same boat? Perhaps we need a timeline scale like in other parts of the forum dedicated to marriages/partnerships etc?

Thank you in advance for any advice/input.

Waiting times may take longer than stated. Be patient.

Thanks Vinny. I also like the audio file. Valid points in it.

Do you reckon we should start a time scale section to help other members who may be in the same boat? I noticed there is another time scale section on a different topic of this forum. (I think I may have incorrectly posted on it giving details of my situation)

Wow,

I don't know if the gods read my post or what. This morning I recieved a letter from The Home Office with my visa stamp on my passport. Thank God. It took them all of 5 weeks 1 day to get it sorted. My visa was stamped a week before I got it and the letter they sent with it was dated yesterday.

In all I am very happy. The wait now wasn't so bad - Patience is good.
