**CURTAILMENT LETTER FROM HOME OFFICE**

Hello everyone,

Is there anyone here on Tier 2 Visa that unfortunately got laid off recently? How long does it usually take the Home Office these days to send the curtailment letter back to us? I have read a comment somewhere in this forum that someone received the letter via email - is it actually the case?

From what I know, it could take few weeks to few months to receive the letter and the 60-day will kick off from then. I just wanted to know if anyone here has actually received this letter soon after your employer notified the HO. I have started to look for a new sponsor and explored other visa options but I guess timing is crucial - the longer time we can remain in the UK the better for job seeking, especially given the whole Covid 19 situation which I don't even want to get there.

Apologies for this I am not aware of the policy at all. I was sharing the other account with another person so simply thought it is easier to create this account. Should I post this query from the other account and perhaps if you can help me deactivate this one as it is against the policy?
