Hi there,
I just called today to the HSMP customer service and the person told me that they are looking at 31st July applications now...

My current HSMP is due to expire in October 2008 and i was granted HSMP in october 2006.
I fall under old rules as per the judicial review.

I have been sorting out my papers for extension based on the new rules (Tier1) as i qualify under Tier 1 too...Anyone know how long i should wait before i apply..im a bit confused...I have had many different answers...

1) One person said apply now (more than 2 months in advance)
2) HSMP customer service person said - apply now.
3) another person said 5 weeks before exipry.
4) Home office website says 1 month.

Which is the correct one?? im confused as to when to apply...

Any ideas!?

I will be applying 6 weeks before expiry ,i would suggest that you do the same

Hi there, thanks for your reply... so are you applying under the old rules or Tier 1... i have got all my paper work ready as per Tier 1... so is it ok for me apply for Tier 1 eventhough i qualify under old rules??...the fees are the same anyways...

Please Advice!
