renewing spouse visa

Hello guys,

My wife will have to renew her visa next year. We now have a business that we are both shareholders of. She will be acting as secretary and paying herself a salary.

My question is, will we have to pay the NHS fee when applying for renewal of the visa next year or will that be redundant as she is paying tax and national insurance already?

You have to pay IHS. She is not exempt simply because she pays tax and NI.

IHS is increasing in October to 625 per year, so £1562-50 for a 2.5 year extension plus visa fee.
