My husband got letter confirming EU4FAM today morning. We are very happy! We were waiting for that 2 years. How long will take now to get the residence card? They give it the same day when will go to immigration officer on garda station?

Yes - that's usually done "immediately" - meaning after you took a ticket, waited your time, and then it's done.

Please report what happened to you to both Solvit (solvit@entemp.ie) and the European Commission (sg-plaintes@ec.europa.eu) - otherwise Ireland will get away with it without any consequences!!!
