UKCVAS is dealing with applications in the order that they were submitted. Useful to keep an eye on their announcements and updates on their website.karim_9876 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 01, 2020 12:50 pmDid anyone manage to book an appointment with UKVCAS recently? I applied online on 16-May and still cannot book an appointment on UKVCAS's website.

No more wait!menskos wrote: ↑Thu May 28, 2020 11:51 amany updates with your application? hope you have heard something by now?max7 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2020 10:29 ammax7 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2020 10:35 pmUpdate:max7 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2019 11:37 am
Today 6 months have been completed, no update received yet. I've contacted HO over the phone, the person at call centre said there is no service standard for SET (P) applications however I should have received within SIX months. They've asked me to write a letter to UKVI asking for update. So.......... I'm going to write a letter now.
I was just about to write a letter today but received letter from HO, saying they aim to process all applications within 6 months but my application has caused some complexity and that they'll process it within 3 more months. (new date given 01 Feb 2020)
So... God willing I shall now wait another 3 months.
So, nothing received at all. No correspondence. The revised date of 1 Feb2020 had been long past. It's very frustrating to be honest.

Did the HO explain what the complexity is in your application?

karim_9876 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 08, 2020 12:08 pmJust a quick update on my case
I applied online on 16-May
Yesterday I received an email to book an appointment, and I booked one on 11-July at Croydon Core Centre.
I was surprised the appointment is for £330. This is not a premium lounge or anything. Just standard appointment. I did not find any free appointments whatsoever, even at other UKVCAS locations? Did anyone managed to find free appointments?

It doesn't depend on the caseworker when to decide an application as caseworkers only follow current HO policy for each application &for each application they are provided training what to do &how to do &follow current policy.I don't think caseworkers do anything as they want but what they are told to follow. Its not a fair &just system we all know that as it is a politicised system.
Nothing for me...but I heard someone received letter asking for explanation and stuff.....Rajux wrote: ↑Thu Jul 09, 2020 11:22 amHi Jesse8Jesse8 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 20, 2020 3:48 pmI mean like....there was a show on an Asian channel about immigration topic...they mentioned that there is huge pressure to bring the net migration level...that could be influence the way in which the caseworkers handle the cases....but yeah it's all assumptions...we could only hope for the best....London22 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 20, 2020 3:08 pmJesse8
