Gap in Qualification..Please help

Post by oneITguy » Wed Aug 20, 2008 5:30 pm

hi

I am having bachelor degree in commerce of three years but due to some reason I had a gap in my final year of the degree from Mumbai University, I mean I completed my degree 1.5 years later. So I have got my Degree certificate 1.5 years later and in my certificate they have mentioned the passing year.

Is it acceptable to have gap in degree and thus having degree certificate late dated rather than actual study period.

How do I show my duration of study in this situation that my degree is taught for three years? I mean what duration I should show?

Your help would be highly appriciated.

Thank you

I think it would be good idea if you talk to BHC regarding it.

What is your worry? If you are claiming you have bachelor degree (3 yr) long course then you only need original degree. I may fail in a degree course 2-3 times and will received Bachelor degree after 5-6 years. Does that mean I am not gradudate or I do not have proper degree?

Hi Rajesh,

Thank you for your reply.

My concern is I am so confused about what duration to show.

Is it from the First day of degree collage to the last exam?
or
The Is it from the First day of degree collage to the Last day of degree collage?

Actually I don't remember any of these dates.

Would it be OK If I provide the letter from the collage stating that degree collage start and end date?

I am worried about what dates to show in section 6.5 of Appendix 1 for english Language requirement

Please suggest.

Thank you

Enter all the dates truthfully. Even if you have completed your degree in more time (4.5 years) than the required (3 years), I don't think it will be an issue and have a bearing on your application, but giving false information might land you in bigger trouble.

Giving an detailed explanation of the fact in your covering letter would definitely help.

I mean it should be Startdate as collage startdate to enddate as Last Exam date(of first attempt)
or Startdate of collage to enddate as Results(of first attempt)[/.

Which letter will be concidered collage or University?
