Hi all,
My friend who was on Tier 2 ICT visa was abruptly removed from his project and was given a month's notice to leave by the sponsor company. He raised a grievance according to his contract of agreement but the company was not willing to address his issues. Since he did not receive any curtailment letter of his visa he stayed in the UK and was in correspondence with his sponsor company. No salary was paid to him for the 3 months he stayed.
When he realized that the company were inconsiderate, he decided to leave the UK and the ticket was provided by the sponsor company in the UK.
1. Is the company legally bound to pay his salary for the 3 months?
2. If they are legally bound then what steps can my friend take to get the money back?
Thanks
