Congratulations...

I will be submitting my application next week.

Have they mentioned in any of the paperwork re naturalisation? When are you eligible to apply for naturalisation?
This topic is not relevant to citizenship questions. Being granted ILR and the approval does not state anything about eligibility for citizenship. ILR and citizenship are two completely different HO departments. Regardless of ILR route, every applicant must meet the separate and different requirements for citizenship.

It doesn't depend on the caseworker when to decide an application as caseworkers only follow current HO policy for each application &for each application they are provided training what to do &how to do &follow current policy.I don't think caseworkers do anything as they want but what they are told to follow. Its not a fair &just system we all know that as it is a politicised system.
I mean like....there was a show on an Asian channel about immigration topic...they mentioned that there is huge pressure to bring the net migration level...that could be influence the way in which the caseworkers handle the cases....but yeah it's all assumptions...we could only hope for the best....
Hi Jesse8
Do have any updates in your application or anyone from SL recenly got decision. Pls update me do you have anything.
Nothing for me...but I heard someone received letter asking for explanation and stuff.....

Btw did u get ur asylum approved directly at home office or at court??
Approved through Court and approved by both ground like asylum and human rights.. is there any concerns??

The one who received letter had his case accepted directly in home office but when a judge makes a decision I guess that has more weight. But yeah it's just a guess......

I m unemployed for the past 5 months and even the Tesco managers r reluctant to verify my work rights since it's not straight forward as the ones with BRP......and no response from any grad jobs as soon I mention about my circumstances even when I have relevent exp......this is just driving me into depression....I guess I ll have to find a job at a corner store soon.

Good question. I scanned all my passport pages in one PDF file and the total size is above the max allowed which is 6MB? Not sure what to do. Can anyone answer this please? Do we need to scan all passport pages?
I scanned only main page plus pages contains visas and stamps but I an not sure if this correct way coz will be more than 6MB if I did .

Hi Saeed,
Just download the consent form from your online application, write in your name / signature and scan and upload to UKVCAS site. That's all.

Today 6 months have been completed, no update received yet. I've contacted HO over the phone, the person at call centre said there is no service standard for SET (P) applications however I should have received within SIX months. They've asked me to write a letter to UKVI asking for update. So.......... I'm going to write a letter now.
Update:
I was just about to write a letter today but received letter from HO, saying they aim to process all applications within 6 months but my application has caused some complexity and that they'll process it within 3 more months. (new date given 01 Feb 2020)
So... God willing I shall now wait another 3 months.

So, nothing received at all. No correspondence. The revised date of 1 Feb2020 had been long past. It's very frustrating to be honest.
Update:
Finally received my BRP today! Thank GOD! It was a long 14+ months journey. I know how it all feels but just stay positive and have trust in God :)

Applied for ILR Route : SET(P)
Date application sent : 02-05-2019
Document received by HO : Online
Ack letter received (if applicable) : Email received on 03-05-2019
Biometric Letter received : Email received on 05-05-2019
Date Biometrics Enrolled : 23-05-2019
Payment Debited : NA
Approval/Refusal Received : 08-07-2020
BRP Card Received : 08-07-2020

Good luck to all!
Congratulations bro but how did you chase them up by lawyer mp or...

Hi, I have a quick question please. I've applied for ILR and I'm a key worker. My colleague told me I could have attached a letter stating that I'm a key worker. Do you think is it worth now to contact the home office and send them the letter or this could disturb the application? thank you

Thanks.

Can you travel to country which u are seeking refugee from after being granted ILR? secondly are there any comments made on BRP about being refugee I.e. “refugee settlement” or it is just “indefinite leave to remain” ?

1. No, it is not advisable as your ilr and refugee status can be revoked. This applies even if you apply for a passport at your home country embassy.

2. The BRP card will say refugee settlement/ILR.

This is a very good question that almost every refugee has .The answer for it isnt straightforward.Refugee law handbook of UN clearly states refugees sometimes in exceptional circumstances may have no choice but to travel home country for a short trip either to see old or sick parents or to participate in funeral of a member of family or something like to file a divorce for which they have to be present in their country. It depends on individual case &reasons of travel.Recently in the mid of may my father was died &I asked HO to send my passport as I wanted to travel home .HO said to me to send details of my father ,details of hospital treatment &proof of death .I sent &they told me to apply for certificate of travel and also send proof of how will I be travelling but unfortunately due to covid there was no flights in operation to my country I coudnt attend funeral.Reason to mention this is that HO understands exceptional circumstances &does cooperate with refugees .
In general of course a refugee cant travel home country .There is no diffenrence between a refugee leave &refugee ILR when it comes to revocation as they see the reason for revocation &status in both leaves is the same which is refugee.

Consent documents is mandatory for if you have a Depandent applicant or you declare any financial sources with you applicstion but if it is single applicant, I think you don't need to worry.
Tnx.
