Continuous Stay for ILR

Post by frozen1234 » Tue Jul 21, 2020 9:36 pm

Hi,

My case:
Worked in ICT tier 2 for 4 years. Then moved to wife's T2 General visa as dependent and going to complete 1 year.

My wife will be completing 5 years in T2 General in 1 year and will be eligible for ILR.

Can i count my 4 years under ICT for the continuous stay as i was the ICT main visa holder? Just to clarify i am not initiating the ILR and will be a part of my wife's ILR application.

Please help with a response if possible.

No, you cannot. Tier 2 ICT does not lead to ILR based on 5 years. You also cannot combine tier 2 main visa time with PBS dependent time to make up 5 years. You need the full 5 years as a PBS dependent before you can apply for ilr.
Just to clarify i am not initiating the ILR and will be a part of my wife's ILR application.
You can't, simple. She applies entirely on her own when she qualifies for ilr.
