Applied 1st June. Still waiting to hear for any appointment or use of biometrics. Frustrating.......

Those who applied in June, and can't got anything through email, have to wait few more days, it is my guess ,that in coming two more working days we might get a reuse email.

Exactly, as they have mentioned “If you are one of these customers, you will receive an email from us before 23 July 2020 asking you to book an appointment”
So if the June applicants who haven’t received any email are in reuse category and might get an email later.

Hi,
I have applied 25th June and I haven't got any appointment mail.
I have extended my visa 2019 November, so I am definitely in re-use group.
I believe we will get the mail soon, but main question is, when we will upload our documents for assessing ? I have friends who applied 1st of May. Although, they have re-use acknowledgement mail, they haven't got application and facial image mail yet. This is something blowing my mind that why anybody who applied before even May still hasn't uploaded documents. Interesting.

One of my colleague who applied ilr protection rouite, early June, got an email yesterday to book appointment, they are family of 4 with kids, he told the only slot available was in Birmingham and it cost 840£, so he is not booking, waiting for some cheap and near by option, because Birmingham is far away for us.

No email, no update from UKVCAS or UKVI. Frustration continues, its last day (23rd July) to receive any update for many June applicants like me. Checked UKVCAS portal many times but its not showing any appointment. This is crazy.

You rightly pointed out, the last day to receive email for appointment booking has already passed. I should have received a re-use email but nothing. Its just wait and wait.

That’s true but seems like it’ll be more of by July end that all of this will start to yield results. I’ll just strap in and try to stop thinking about all this until then.

Date of application submission: 4th June
Received Bio-metric re-use email: 23rd July (Just now)
Last Bio-metric given: Aug/Sept 2016

I applied on the 8th of June (SET LR), and I've just received the re-use email from UKVCAS. It seems that they'll be sending out these emails today after all. This is part of it:

"UKVI have identified you as being eligible for this new approach involving biometric reuse.

Importantly, this new digital approach means you will not have to attend an appointment at a UKVCAS Service Point.

We are also working closely with UKVI to develop a new way for you to submit a facial image. Once this is launched, you will have to submit your facial image as part of the identification verification process so that, if leave is granted, UKVI will be able to produce your new biometric residence permit (BRP).

We will be in touch over the next few weeks with the details of this new approach and to confirm next steps."

I doesn’t, it’s still offering me to cancel the appointment even I attended it.
