FLR(M) Spouse visa

Post by nasaka » Mon Jul 27, 2020 1:43 pm

Afternoon all,

Just some insight for you which may be helpful?

My husband has applied for FLR-M.
We submitted his online application on 24 June.
He received the biometrics reuse email on 23 July.
We submitted his evidence online on the UKVCAS website on 27 July (today).
His BRP is due to expire on 06 August.

Interestingly, his employer requested proof of his visa application less than 2 weeks ago and requested his UAN. My husband provided it and his employer received a reply from UKVI confirming that my husband's BRP now expires on 22 Jan 2021? So UKVI have automatically extended the BRP for a few months but we did not know this and were obviously panicking previously.

Please do not post FLR(M) queries in the ILR sub forum. Post moved to the Immigration for Family sub forum.

I think his employer receive a positive verification notice from UKVI which usually is granted initially for 6 months due to section 3C is in place.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.
