New instructions for Tier 2?

Hello I was wondering if there were new instructions on dealing with NEW tier 2 outside the UK application? Is the HO still accepting new applications? A friend claims that the HO is now delaying any new applications until beginning of 2021 which sounds really strange to me.

Ask your 'friend' for the source of their information, which sounds ridiculous anyway. Suggest stop listening to 'friends'.

People are still applying and getting visas, as clearly indicated in the timeline thread.

That's exactly what I told him (his employer told him the company can not start with tier 2 application as the HO has stopped processing all new applications).

Please remove this thread if you feel that it might cause unnecessary panic.

Perhaps the employer no longer wishes to sponsor your friend and told him that as an alternative to being honest.
