So I’ve been reading this forum for the past few months and it’s been fantastic in getting clued up. Now that I’m ready to apply for my wife’s visa (end of august), just wanted to see if I am missing anything. We will be applying via the cash savings route (the required amount has been in my account for the past 6 months). So just a little background, I am a UK national by birth and have been a PhD student for the past four years in receipt of a tax-free stipend 19,000/year (ended in July 2020) and will be starting a new job later on this month – just waiting on HR to finalise contract. I got married in Pakistan in January and soon will have compiled the documents below. Please advise if anything is missing or is needed.

FINANCIAL REQUIREMENT - cash savings Category D alone - £62,500
6.1 6 month bank statements (official letters sent by the bank) from both a current and a savings accounts. Money is instantly accessible and statements will be no older than 28 days.
6.2 Proof/declaration of source of income (accumulated through university stipend received for the past 4 years and cash gifts from father and brother)
6.3 Stipend details – official offer letter from 2016, university remittance notes which match bank statements, an official letter from university HR detailing the stipend (If I start my job before the application, I will provide a contract and further appropriate letters from HR.)
6.4 Bank statements to demonstrate cash gift transfers – from father and brother
6.5 Father’s confirmation of source of gifts – cover letter stating it’s a gift and don’t expect to be repaid. Fathers ID. Savings were accumulated over time primarily through rental income - tax returns documents (SA302 and tax year overview – have past 20 years available, a few years no tax was paid as income fell below the personal allowance due to expenses). Also copies of tenancy agreements and land registries for all properties.
6.6 Brothers confirmation of source of gifts - cover letter with ID, a letter from his employer, P60 and most recent payslips
