Expiry date for a sponsor's certified copy of passport

We are applying for a fiance visa to bring my partner to the UK.

My understanding is we need to submit a certified copy of my British passport.
We booked an appointment to get it certified by a solicitor near me next week.
My question is..

Is there any expiry date for the certified copy of passport ..? Like 28 days etc?

It does NOT have to be certified. You simply need to provide a good quality clear copy of it.
