FLR( M) Application questions

Post by adam13 » Wed Jul 22, 2020 2:15 pm

Hi

I am applying for the spouse visa extension FLR(M) which is expiring in end of Aug 2020. While filling in form online I am not sure how the following questions should be answered?
Does anyone have any tips for the type of answer I should provide?

1)Are there any factors which would make it difficult or impossible for you to integrate and establish a
private life in that country? ( I am confused because technically its not impossible for me to move back to my home country apart from fact that we will have massive cost to move back in terms of we have commitments in UK such as own a property and etc. My other concern is if i select Yes they require evidence but what type of evidence can we provide.)

2)Could you and your partner live together outside the UK if necessary? ( What does they mean by that as both questions are almost similar- answers for both is kind of NO!!!)

Can anybody please provide any guidance that will be much appreciated!! Thanks

These questions are self explanatory which shouldn't be left blank. Perhaps the main reasoning behind these questions is to enable the caseworker in deciding as whether are there any insurmountable obstacles in relocating back home which usually induce the grant of FLRFP where FLRM fails.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

Thank you Seagul for your reply.

I have seen many post where people mention Yes for the first question i asked, but in my case its not impossible to move to my home country. So i will put ''No'' only because i will not be able to provide any evidence to prove that its impossible.

Whereas in the second question 'Could you and your partner live together outside the UK if necessary? ''Its not asking for any evidence '

Can i mention ''No'' and give the reason as ''We have a Job, home ,Family and Social life in UK and we will like to settle permanently in UK and make UK our main home'' ?

Just want to make sure that I am not contradicting myself in question 01 and 02 , does it need to be same answer for both the question ? Will it be OK if select yes in the first question (Because its definitely not impossible to move to my home country) and No in the second question with the reason explained above (Here i am confused about the intention of this question, what if say Yes will it affect in the decision making and can it be used for refusing the visa ? )

Your guidance will be highly appreciated.

English Requirements:
Naric Certificate (Issued in 2016)
Degree Certificate ( India's Uni)
Letter from University mentioning Degree taught in english.
There are wavering opinions and experiences about that but ideally get it reassessed through NARIC red route where you will be issued NARIC own English proficiency letter in addition to degree comparability statement.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

Given the prevalence of some hodgepodge over several section on the application form where it start assuming the things itself especially relating to financial calculations, so it is ideal to attach it.
