Sepration & divorce in baltic country EU5 Retention

Hi All!
I got married in Baltic country back 2014 and we moved to Ireland in 2015 and got my first EUfam 5 stamp in September 2015 and still we are living in together but she wants to move back to her country.

So I would like to know what’s the procedure for sepration ?do I need to contact solicitor or I can do it myself?
Do I need to inform my local Garda station for sepration or I can go straight for divorce?

And can we get divorce where we got married even though she’s not from that European country?

How I can retain my treaty rights??
She’s been working throughout and still working.
She can exercise her treaty rights until things won’t sort out.
Please guide me if somebody knows it. Thanks a lot

Procedure for separation isn’t really something this forum is for. If you two can come to a mutual agreement, you do not have to get a solicitor to file a separation agreement with the court. However, a solicitor service is somewhat preferred to make sure both parties have their basis covered.

You need to inform EU Treaty department about the separation as soon as it happens. You can file an EU5 application for your retention rights. They can be done without any solicitor involvement.

The issue with divorce in a different country is a question for that country.
