There doesn't appear to be any restriction based on visa. You simply need to have the right to live and work in the UK. Important to note that you will be paid very little and won't be entitled to any form of benefits to help with your living costs. You will also have to find an apprentice employer who is prepared to pay for your studies as you won't qualify for the Student Finance loan to pay your tuition fees.
