Child Section details in Visa application form

Hi

During filling up application form for extension of spouse visa (FLR - M) within UK, there is section where we need to enter children under 18 details.

We have a baby born in April 2020 in UK, and due to COVID lockdown we are yet to receive birth certificate from local registration office (on 9th September we got slot to get birth certificate). After birth certificate we are going to apply for british passport for baby based on ILR settlement status of my husband who is also in UK and is natural father of baby.

As the Spouse Visa extension need to be applied before that, what details should I mention in child section, as we don't have birth certificate or passport for child yet.

Did anyone gone though similar situations? If yes then what is the process they followed for successful Visa application?

List the details as normal. There usually is “additional notes” section at the end of the application form. You can mention that the birth will be registered in Sep due to corona. Note, this question will have no impact on your case anyways.
