Is my son Canadian?

I was born in 1977 in the UK and currently have Canadian Citizenship through my mother who was born in Canada in 1959.
My son was born in 2006 in the UK...is he entitled to Canadian Citizenship? :?:

I have read through the information but i'm still unsure of my sons status...
I can remember hearing somewhere that the law changes in 2009?

Apparently, he is currently Canadian by descent. However, he must apply to retain his Canadian citizenship by his 28th birthday, or his Canadian citizenship will be lost.

When were you born in 1977?

In particular, were you born before or after the 15th February?

And if born before the 15th February, when were you registered as a Canadian citizen?
