Financial requirement section of UK Visa

Post by Surabhi02 » Sat Aug 15, 2020 1:33 pm

I am applying for renewing my spouse dependent visa. To meet the financial requirements can I add only my partner's employment details as it meets the financial requirement? I have been self employed from the beginning of this year and have not yet filled for tax return. If I put my self employment details in Finance Section of the application then tax return is required.

Since your spouse's employment/income meets the requirements, use hers only. It makes the whole thing straight forward, less paper work and less likely for CW to confuse things.

Spouse settlement visa

Post by Surabhi02 » Sat Aug 15, 2020 2:52 pm

I am applying for my spouse dependent visa renewal. The document section mentions the below question, not sure what to answer for this

Question: Would any of your other family members be affected if your application was refused?

Pretty self explanatory which has no correct/wrong answer despite can't be left as blank.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

IHS Fee for Visa Renewal

Post by Surabhi02 » Wed Aug 19, 2020 10:24 pm

I am applying for renewing my spouse dependent visa. During my original application I had made the full payment for IHS for a period of 6 years. Since then the surcharge has increased so do I need to pay the IHS fee again? If yes then do I pay the difference Or can I use the previous IHS reference number that I had received?

What do you mean you paid for 6 years?? There is no visa that is granted for 6 years. You have to pay again and get a new reference number when you apply for an extension.

IHS was £200 per year, so for an entry clearance visa it would have been £600 for a 30/33 month visa prior to the last increase.

It is now £400 per year, so £1000 for a 2.5 year visa. Fee increases again in October to £625 per year so just over £1500 OHS for a 2.5 year visa.
It is now
