Hello everyone,

The situation around the world is really sad due to the outbreak of Corona virus.
I have my EEA family permit with me but still cannot travel to UK since all the flights are suspended for a month.

Hopefully the situation will be better in the coming months. I just wanted to know if anyone can help me out with my query.

Is it necessary to travel to UK within first 3 months of the visa start date. Is it a problem if someone die to unavoidable circumstances travels after 3 months of the visa start date??

And currently how long does it take to get pre settled status after moving to UK ??
Hi,
There is no law that forces you to come within 3 months. You can come to the UK in last month of your FP. There is no definite time period for settlement scheme to process as it varies case to case. According to recent information keep in mind at least couple of months. Stay safe and do not worry about coming asap. Later is better than sooner as UK is going to be next hotsopt of Covid-19. Almighty bless everyone in this situation
Hey thankyou for the info.
Hopefully things will be fine soon.
Anyways I cannot travel asap as till 15th Apr 2020 the incoming as well as outgoing flights are suspended. So let's see later in May maybe.

hi, i read your timeline but i forget exactly the dates..you received an email that a decision was made on the 15th day after biometrics?am i rigth? its my 20th day and still no update..i feel so anxious

Dear TikTok

I read few of your posts in the forum that have been great help .
I wonder if you could please help me With few questions from your personal experience.
1.what should be the income of Sponsor?
2.what should be the disposable income?
3.how much money one should be sending to support them ?
4.what should be the length of support ?
5.did you appeal to the first tier tribunal ?
I would be thankful, if you could please help me with the above questions .

I got the following response:

Hello,

Omds this is serious! Have you tried escalating your case? I applied since February this year & haven’t heard back either. I can only imagine what you are going through right now. Please stay strong & be patient. I’ll be praying for all of us waiting that we get a response soon and be reunited with our loved ones.
Hi Gnud3mn, did you apply from lagos?
Hey Pierre, my Timeline is as follows;

I used this link to escalate my case recently after tiktok received his mother in-laws successful decision https://www.gov.uk/contact-ukvi-inside-outside-uk

I got the following response:

Hello,

Thank you for your email regarding your EU Settlement Scheme Family Permit. We apologise for the inconvenience, but, due to the worldwide impacts of COVID-19, and recent Visa Application Centre (VAC) and Decision Making Centre (DMC) closures your application may experience delays.

Please visit the GOV website for further information.

What’s your timeline?

Dmc acknowledgement: july 30

On Friday 28th Aug I emailed the paid UKVI email service. They said a decision had been made on the EU Settlement Scheme Family Permit application. Does anyone know how long it takes from that point until you get contacted by VFS centre to collect the passport? Thanks.
