GNIB Registration

Post by iamwhoever » Fri Aug 22, 2008 3:29 pm

Has anyone paid for their GNIB registration with the Bank Giro? If so, maybe you can help.

I registered in Dublin on Wednesday. I took the Giro to the Bank of Ireland at College Green, which is the bank and branch the GNIB has their account with (It's stated on the giro). I paid by cash.

I know the GNIB tells you to wait 7 working day to be sure, but does it really take that long? Has anyone paid with the bank giro and picked up their registration card just a few days later?

A quick reply would be much appreciated. I my stamp in my passport for a loan and to register for a PPS number.

Thanks in advance. Cheers!

Hi,

I paid by GIRO last time and you have to wait for 7 days to collect your GNIB Card as they won't give you before as stated in the form.

Thanks
