Please check for you as well if your details are reflecting?

I got my GTV BRP a few minutes ago today. Yes, the online right to work check service does not work when trying the new BRP number. It says "Cannot show your details".

Is it the same issue for you? How did you contact their technical team?

The link will not show anything for your new brp card. The brp card is your proof of right to work!!

Exactly the same error msg for me, strange thing is my partner’s details appears when i check with her details (she is on my depedent)
Seems like issue with GTV main applicants only.
To raise it with technical team:
Go to the prove RTW link
Click on Start button
There is another link on blue pannel at the bottom “need help” click on it then it will take you to a page that has 2 other links
Click on the 2nd link to contact technical team.
This is opens a form, fill your details and submit.
They will email you on the 2nd day and ask again the same details and your visa type.
After you reply back they will again take 2 days to reply back that they have escalated the issue and next day another email saying its a technical issue and they are working to fix it and give alternatives (nothing new that we already know 😀) to prove RTW.
In short NOTHING TO WORRY, celebrate your BRP arrival and have a good weekend

The link will not show anything for your new brp card. The brp card is your proof of right to work!!
AGREED

There are 3 ways to prove RTW:

1. Original BRP
2. Prove RTW link
3. Employer can additionally get confirmation of your right to work by completing this form: https://right-to-work.service.gov.uk/check-form

My BRP is with DVLA, another waiting game hence I was looking for alternatives to prove RTW

Here is an update.

I did dual submission (IDV on Aug 28, followed by in-person appointment on Aug 29). I received my BRP yesterday, and the photo in the BRP is that from the in-person biometrics.

My wife and kids vignette came on the 31st of August. I received mine 11th of september with the same validity period of 90-days after doing my biomteric on the 29th of July while my family did theirs on the 28th of July. It was a long wait and it was successfull.

Please, for in-country applications, does the Global Talent Visa start from the decision date or the application date?

No, my case was different. That time there was no idv app and when I submitted there was a huge backlog and I was in queue to get a biometric appointment.
My slot to book an appointment was opened in Mid July.
Now the situation is much better.

I thinking about applying for the stage 2 (my endorsement was a fast track route under UKRI) and I am bit concerned about the times it would take since I would not be able to travel while having an application pending.

Would being eligible for the biometrics reused would accelerate the process? What are the factors that can speed up the process?

Using IDV app or opting for Biometric (don’t think this should really matter or related to decision time), can’t really assure you which one would be quicker as eventually it will depends on the type of each application case by case basis.
My “personal view” based on trends is to go for biometric appointment.
Standard wait time is 8 weeks but UKVI is doing their best as I have seen maximum decisions coming out well before the standard time

Yes I see what you mean.

As far as I understood, the 8 weeks start counting from the day of submitting the biometrics. The question is, how long would it take to get my biometrics sent?!!!
