SET (F)

Post by a--R » Tue Sep 15, 2020 8:51 pm

Hi all,

I have recently received ILR based on long residence. My husband became british citizen in 2018.
I have a child born outside UK but living in UK with us since 2013 on different dependent visas.

I believe SET (F) is the online application i need to fill.
Can somebody share list of documents required to submit that application?
also after successful SET (F) application , does child need to wait 1 year for naturalisation application?

Many Thanks for responses.

The online system will let you know what documents you should provide after you complete the form.
Children do NOT naturalise, they get registered as British. The child can be registered using form MN1 after getting ILR but the grant of citizenship, in this case, is discretionary
