I am assisting my employer apply for their sponsorship license.
Government guidance suggest for employers to apply for sponsorship now if they want to sponsor migrants in the new system. It asks for the employer to provide as much information about number of migrants hired in first year and how many at RQF 3 level and to show they can offer a genuine vacancy at least RQF 3.
I was wondering how will my employer provide this information, would it be on the cover letter? There is nothing to provide in the actual application form itself besides maybe the amount of unrestricted cos and why (does not apply to me anyway as I’m working under tier 5 gae looking to switch (apply in USA) to skilled worker (replacing tier 2) for same company, would be restricted cos)
In the mandatory documents appendix, it requires the company to list why they are applying to be a sponsor, how they identified candidate and the vacancy.
Would it be sufficient to say I work for them on a different visa and wish to keep me for a similar position (there would be a vacancy if I left after my current visa ends). Would this also be included on a cover letter as no RLMT will need to be carried out. What would be evidence?
Thank you, please let me know if I need to clarify any details. I would appreciate any advice from anyone who has had similar experiences.
