Just out of curiosity, if a document was missing or something wasn't right on application surely UKVI would ask for further supporting documents wouldn't they?
I applied SET M 22nd June, IDV 28th August and in-Person 15th Sept in Croydon, haven't had a decision yet, thinking maybe something is wrong with application ha
I think it is just a feeling that you have after waiting for so long. If you have provided, the declaration signed by your partner, your passports, correspondence letters, payslips, letter of employment and bank statements or just bank statement for saving category in addition to LinUK and English and proof of accommodation you should be fine.
It is completely random as strangely few Sep SET M applicants already got decision and taking long does not mean that your application has something wrong and yes the UKVI would ask for further documents/information to be provided in case there is something missing.
Hope this helps and wish you get your approval very shortly.
