RCoS for Tier 2 General visa

Hi All,

I am currently in Tier 2 General visa and my wife and son are my dependants. My wife's employer is applying for RCoS for her Tier 2 General visa. I will be moving my son as her Dependant.

Could you please help me with the below questions

1.Does Dependant information be added in the RCoS as well or it's required only for visa processing

2. Currently I don't want to get converted as her Dependant. So we will not be providing my documents for now. In future, can I get added as her Dependent ie can I switch from Tier 2 General to Tier 2 General Dependant visa.

1. The RCoS is only relevant to visa processing.

2. Yes, you can switch at any time. Your 5 year ILR clock will reset to zero when you switch to dependent visa. Your wife's 5 year ILR clock also resets to zero.

When does your visa expire??

Note also that your child will only get a visa validity to the same date as your current visa, not your wifes, as stated in the immigration rules.

I will now be switching my sponsorer and my new employer has applied for RCoS. can you please guide me how I can switch my visa and the required documents. Is there any particular link I can use to fill and submit my visa application
