What's the process to get name changed if resident of UK but national of India?

Hi, I am a UK resident (spouse visa). When I got married to my husband, I'd decided to keep my original surname. However, I want to change it to my husband's surname now. I am an Indian national. How do I go about changing my name officially? I reckon I'd have to do something in both countries so that it changes on my passport as well as my Resident country?

Adopting a married name doesn't attract any formal procedure rather a marriage certificate is deemed sufficient to bear out such change. Simply apply a new passport under marriage name and then apply a replacement BRP.
