Point me in the right direction - british marrying egyptian

Hi, first time user and i know there are lots of forums but plz i am so confused. I am returning to egypt for the 4 th time this yr and want to marry my egyptian boyfriend. I have emailed the uk and egypt embassy for information but have heard nothing. I want to know about procedures, fees and the chances of him getting a visa to live with me in the uk.

Do a general search on this section of the forum for spouse visa and also visit the UKBA and UKVisas websites for details. No one can tell you accurately your chances - it all depends on your personal situation(s).

I seem to remember Cairo being one of the difficult consulates, search here for the figures, I have seem them.

What the last post means is that they will try anything not to let the visa be issued. Kingston Jamaica is exactly the same!!
