Questions on Extension of PBS Dependent Leave To Remain Visa - Before Expiry date

Hi All,

Am trying to extend my wife's PBS dependent Leave to Remain Visa , which is expiring next month. I am using this link to complete the application.

I am not sure about few questions which has been asked in the website. Can you please guide me. Am currently holding my ILR(Got on 2017 through Tier 2 General 5 year route).

1. Which visa or permission to stay has *******(wife name) applied for or been granted?

Ans: Tier 2 (General) leave to remain as I was having Tier 2 Visa earlier.

2. What is *******(wife name) sponsor licence number?

Ans : I have given my last Tier 2 Employer COS License number(valid from 2014 -2017).

3. Has *******(wife name) been informed they are eligible for a Health and Care visa?
Ans: No( As she is not working anything related to Health & care)

4. What is the length of *******(wife name) Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS)?
Ans: 3 year or less(Based on my last COS start and End Date)

5. Has *******(wife name) sponsor agreed to certify your maintenance?
Ans: No (Sponsor is not going to provide any support. My wife is going to show her bank statements(last 3 months - £630))

Hi,

1. Today, I've submitted my wife PBS Dependent Visa application extension form online and I have been given with only one option to select for the service - which is a standard service. Is there any other way for me to get Priority or Super Priority service ? but this 2 services are not available in the UK website.

2. If I go with the Standard service. My next appointment for submitting documents and BRP is available only on 30th Oct 2020. So my concern is her actual visa is expiring on 03 Nov 2020. AS there are only 4 days left before her visa is processed.
(a) Will that be an issue to her visa extension start date ?
(b) Ideally will there be any gap between the end of the current visa date and the new Visa date ?

1. Priority and super priority is currently suspended. You only have standard service option. You cannot upgrade to priority after you have submitted.

2a. No.

2b. Her new visa will be valid from date of approval. It is not tagged onto her last visa expiry date. She won't have a gap in continuous legal stay as she will be protected by section 3C while an application is pending with ukvi.

ok Thanks for the detailed and quick response . Since I was worried only about the gap since she is going to apply for ILR next year.
