UK Passport holder to relocate to UK with Family

Post by umairzafars » Sun Oct 04, 2020 8:59 pm

Hey! I (Female) am from Pakistan and i have UK passport as decent but i never been to UK before. I am new to immigration rules and only have basic information.

Now i wanted to relocate to UK with my Husband and 2 children. All of us are living in Pakistan. To fulfill the minimum income criteria that is £24,800, i have a relative in UK running his cafe. He is willing to offer me a job but that would be around £12,000 per annum but he will pay me £2000+ monthly so i can apply for family visa.

I need guidance and i wanted to know if there is any hiding rules which can lead to rejection.

One more question, what if i go to UK and open my bank account, get contract for cafe job and register myself to NHS or any other department where i have to register and then come back to Pakistan. After 5 months, i will go to UK again and will spend 1-2 months and then file my spouse application. Is that possible? In this case, i will still get my fake salary. I cant leave my children alone, they have to live with me

Thanks for your reply. I will read out these links which will definitely increase my information. As i mentioned in my opening post, do you see any issues with my approach? I will manage to stay in UK after i fulfill income criteria. After that i have to mange accommodation requirement

For the first six months, can i stay first month in UK and from 2-5 months in Pakistan and on 6 month i will travel back to UK and start preparing for accommodation and documents?

No. it wont work like that, as it will manifestly be dubious where you are simply showing of being employed in UK while living more predominantly outside of UK. Remember, UKVI caseworker exercise zero tolerance over any outmanoeuvre in securing the visa. Also, usually a very extensive range of documents are required when someone is working for a family member which seems to be in your case. Check the page 59 to onward of the same guidance as given above:

Thanks for the information. If my husband along with two children apply for Family Visa how much do we need to pay in total? Do we need to pay IHS as well?

Visa Fees for Husband: £1,523
Visa Fees for 2 Children: £1,523 * 2 = £3,045

English Test: ???

Do we need to pay IHS per applicant?

Any other hidden fees?

Except you, everyone else will have to pay the IHS fee which is £400 per person per year set to rise to £624 anytime from now. And English test might cost you around £150+ depending on your test location and currency exchange rate. And remember, that is just the tip of iceberg, because there are plenty of more uninvited expenses which most frequently occur depending on the lifestyle apart of the travelling tickets, accommodation costs, Car etc.

And God forbidden the none-refundable re-application fee or appeal fee on refusal.

Now you are scaring me :-)

Well my husband is software engineer and has around 12 years of experience. I know once he will be able to work in UK we can recover our expenses but yes we should prepare for the worse case scenario.

Don't be scared, it is only fair to know the cost implications before you start. And as you stated, recouping should not be a long hard things as per his skills.

I see a big issue with that. A family member employs you for his coffee then you go back to Pakistan for 6 months until you have 6 payslips. Will you be working online for the coffee?

Let me tell you something in non uncertain terms: try to outsmart the Home Office and you are stuck with your family in Pakistan for the foreseeable future. No solicitor or anything would get you out once you mess up with the Home Office.

As you didn't live in the UK, you are probably not aware how it works here. They are good in finding non legitimate actions, non genuine documents, artificial situations... etc and make the perp pay dearly for that.

You have an opportunity, don't ruin it for you and your family.

Totally agreed. Right now i am exploring the possible options and will definitely go for safer one.
