Can A Tier 2 General Visa Holder do Additional Paid Work for 20 hours?

In detail:-

currently Tier 2 General sponsored by XYZ company so when I work for a contract, I will get paid via my XYZ company

My question is , can I also work for a new company (who is not sponsored) called ABC directly for 20 hours in parallel?

Do I need make sure, the ABC company paying via my XYZ company for these 20 hours?

or Can I get paid directly to my personal bank account by ABC company?

Can you explain this? Is xyz an umbrella company? Do you have to find your own contract jobs? Do they take a % of your money earned? Did you have to pay a fee for your CoS?

You are only allowed to work 20 hours a week for another company on their PAYE payroll and the job must be at the same level and SOC as your main tier 2 job.

It sounds like you are in the UK as a contractor, which is strictly not permitted on tier 2.

You must be on ABC payroll as an employee and can only work for ABC outside of your main tier 2 job hours.

Usually how T2 G employees are working, if they get contract & then end client /agent pay to T2 sponsored company (XYZ) and then XYZ company pay to employee account.

So you are saying we can work additional 20 hours for ABC company and ABC company should directly pay to employee (PAYE).

The conclusion is T2 genaral employee will get paid by XYZ sponsored company(PAYE) - Main job.
And Also T2 general employee can make additional 20 hours job contract(for same SOC) directly with another company ABC and then they we will get paid via another PAYE - Supplimentary job

Please confirm my understanding is correct.

Who finds the contract? You have also not answered all my questions I asked above. What is your SOC?

Supplementary employment and the terms are clearly explained in the tier 2 policy guidance. You cannot do supplematry working during your main tier 2 working hours, even if you are on annual leave from tier 2 sponsor job.
